OHL and United Car Dealers Association announce new partnership

The Ontario Hockey League (OHL) on September 1st, 2026 announced a new partnership with the United Car Dealers Association (UCDA).
The multi-faceted agreement positions UCDA as a contributing partner across several of the OHL’s marquee properties, including the OHL Playoffs, the OHL Priority Selection, the Connor McDavid OHL Top Prospects Game and the OHL Futures Camp.
With almost 5,000 motor vehicle dealer members across Ontario, the UCDA promotes professionalism in a successful and regulated Canadian industry. UCDA members can be found in more than 500 Ontario communities — many of them home to OHL clubs and the fans who fill their buildings.
“The United Car Dealers Association (UCDA) is proud to partner with the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) for wins both on and off the ice,” said James Hamilton, Executive Director of the UCDA. “UCDA motor vehicle dealers and their customers are hockey fans, and just like the OHL, UCDA members deliver excellence across Ontario.”
“The UCDA and the OHL share a footprint and a following,” said Matt Gergely, OHL Director of Business Operations. “Their members are in the same communities as our clubs, serving the same families that pack our arenas, and that made this a natural fit. We’re proud to welcome the UCDA as an official partner and to have them alongside us at some of the most important events on our calendar — from the Priority Selection to the Connor McDavid OHL Top Prospects Game to the OHL Playoffs.”
Fans can find their local UCDA member dealer at www.ucda.ca.
